This workshop aims to enhance your critical thinking to promote excellence in assessment skills for vascular access devices. This also attracts 6 CNE points and covers the following points:
- Outcomes and evidence based practice with devices
- Choosing the right vascular access device
- Professional development and scope of practice
- Patient and health care worker education
- Detection and management of complications with central venous access devices
This workshop is aimed at participants who have some or no experience in managing PICCS, Ports and other CVADs.
